I'm a full-stack engineer in Mumbai — backend-heavy — who has spent three years keeping production payment systems alive— the APIs, the database, the deploys, and the 2am pages. I lead a 7-engineer team and take features from client requirements through to deployment. Lately I've been channelling that same reliability instinct into agentic AI: building LLM agents that ground their answers and fail honestly.
Experience
I lead a consumer payments platform — recharge, bill pay, BBPS — from client requirements through to deployment. I own the schema, the screens, the servers, and the pager.
- 400k+ transactions/month at 99.9% SLA across consumer payment workflows.
- Ran requirement discovery directly with clients and owned each slice end to end — React/Next.js screens, APIs, and deployment.
- Re-architected a legacy municipal tax-collection backend (water/property/sewage, POS-based) — normalized the SQL schema, ran a zero-downtime migration, and added transactions + pub/sub queues — for ~3× throughput.
- Hardened BBPS integrations, webhooks, and reconciliation with idempotency keys + backoff — cut failed/duplicate transactions ~15%.
- PostgreSQL/Prisma schema, Docker Compose deploys (−40% deploy time), Nginx/TLS, and an RBAC + JWT admin panel.
- Led a 7-engineer team, owning architecture and on-call incident response.
End-to-end Node/TypeScript APIs with React/Next.js frontends for distributed remote clients — owned from data model to UI, secured with JWT/OAuth2, deployed on AWS/VPS behind Nginx.
